Greetings All! Please access the following page on the GBLX web site:

globalcrossing.com

Now, I offer just one penguin's opinion, based on nothing more substantial than my own observations. I have no inside knowledge, but I do know how to add 1+1. In my opinion, we will see a tender for GBLX announced by DT at the World Telecom Conference in Geneva beginning October 10. All the parties are present and the timing couldn't be sweeter. This is not to rule out BellSouth, which may indeed also make a bid. If anything is to happen, it will be next week.

If I am wrong and there is no buyout involving GBLX, I will be surprised, but not disappointed. GBLX will thrive on its own merits with or without a marriage, and I maintain my target of $70/share MINIMUM by April. When I took my stake in GBLX it was through the FRO proxy, and there was no indication at the time that GBLX would itself become a target. But, as I posted earlier, the telecom mating dance is far from over and anything is possible.

The one thing of which I am certain is that no one will pry my shares away for less than $70, and in due course I would expect much more as GBLX continues to execute its business plan.

Do your own DD and make your own decisions, but I'm thinking minimum $70 next week with takeover or minimum $70 with possibility of a much stronger price by April.

(Voluntary Disclosure: Position- Long; ST Rating- Strong Buy; LT Rating- Strong Buy)
