Gordon A. Langston: BTW with 150,000 members and less than 800 posts on this subject any guesses on the voter turnout percentage? Seems it will be small.

That is why I think SI has already made the decision to bring Anthony back. If SI truly wanted a member vote, they would have Pmailed all members with the facts about the vote. They could have allowed a supporter's statement and a detractor's statement. This would have produced an informed vote.

Obviously this was not about a fair and informed vote, but an excuse to justify to Anthony's detractors the reason they have reinstated his membership.

This vote has been a farce from the beginning. If SI wanted to bring Anthony back, they should have just done so, period. It is their company and their call. Putting violations of the Terms of Use to a vote is ludicrous and nothing more than a popularity vote. Surely if Anthony was not a high profile character on SI, this vote would have never occurred, thus the hypocrisy of the vote in the first place.

SI Management bring back Anthony if you so decide, but in my opinion you have insulted the collective intelligence of your membership base with this joke of a vote.

I doubt more than 5 percent of the membership have voted, probably much less. What kind of vote can that possible be?

Regards,
LG
