Thanks Wily, nothing wrong with stating a contrary opinion that is for sure. Mistakes aside, hell blunders aside, I have to ask myself why is Rambus so very important to Intel. Now it might be for the wrong reason or the right one, but rest assured there is a reason.

wily,

I have to disagree with your assessment of the bear/bull argument. Where you reading all the posts? (and I really don't mean that in any sarcastic sense -- it's just that I saw just the opposite from what you described)

For the most part the exchanges were civil and without rancor.

I'd say that there was considerable name calling on both sides. Carl even apologized for it.

What do the bears have to be bitter about? They called it. If anything they should be gloating, but they're not -- they're just maintaining their position

Then you must have missed Carl's "I told you so" post. Do a search on "immature" or "neener-neener" and follow the links back.

And I'll repeat what I said in a previous post -- a) no one should gloat, and b) the race is not over, so no one could gloat yet.

Dave
