Lou, it looks like you are backing up. The idea here is "professional" as opposed to "punk amateur". You play guitar. You play it well. If someone walks up to you and says, "I can play guitar as good as Eric Clapton" it's real, real easy to find out if he is a pro or a punk amateur. You say, "Is that right? Well here's a pick and a Strat all tuned up right, let's see what you got, champ." You don't need to listen to the yapping, you let the dude's fingers do the walking. You know it's Eric in the first ten seconds if you never heard the riff, so this dude should be able to convince you in about...ten seconds. He can prove himself real easy. He plays well, he's a pro. If he plays a Clapton riff, he's off the stage. He's an amateur. He's an idiot for assuming you don't know a Clapton riff and you don't know he is faking. You're a pro, he's a schmoe. Simple. Right? If a person is booted off this site, especially someone who has a large following and claims to be a professional, and then uses someone else's membership and username to make posts while he or she is booted off and does not identify himself or herself, but purposefully conceals the fact, then what he or she is doing is unethical. That's a fact. There is an old saying, my friend. "What you do comes back to you." Not many people understand it. Let me be very clear about what I am talking about. James Cramer is a member of SI. So is Ted David. So is Tom Dorsey. These are professionals in every sense of the word. Do you think they read your posts? Do you think that if they were shown samples of the different persona that have posted messages under your username that they wouldn't all come to the same conclusion? Do you think any of these people would post the stuff that has been posted under your alias? Now, I am not accusing you of anything. Here is what I am saying: I am a professional writer, a professional artist, a professional trader, and a professional businessman. You can't fool me with your writing. No way. It cannot be done. Ask around SI. <G> Many members of this site are professionals. Doctors, lawyers, executives in large publicly traded companies, professionals in the securities industry, people who own their own businesses. They all understand the rules. You are a professional, you act like a professional. All the time. What you do comes back to you. A true pro knows that sharing a username or alias with someone who has been booted off SI is not ethical. I'm not talking about the Terms of Use here, I'm talking about ethical behavior. It's not professional. If I want to do business with someone, then I have a choice. I can do business with people that are not ethical, or I can choose to avoid business relationships with those kinds of people. Ask a few pros what they choose. I think you know what I would say if you ask me. There is no way in hell that I will ever do business with Anthony or you. Not because I hate you, (I don't) not because I'm long your shorts (I'm not) not for any other reason than your actions are not professional, and I don't need the future repercussions. Been there, done that. That's how I found out about the "What you do comes back to you" thing. Watch out for Mr. Mighty Brains of Chicken, he's a pro. See ya on Level 2.
