Today's explanation:

<<This past Friday, IQ Chart lost internet connectivity with our primary and secondary ISPs due to problems with the local circuit from GTE. On Monday morning, the problems with the local circuit occurred again, rendering IQ Chart without Internet connectivity.

We have been in constant communication with both of our Internet Service Providers, in addition to the technical support team at GTE. They are working diligently to prevent these problems from reoccurring.

So what is IQC doing about this? We are not able to circumvent the local circuit immediately, and are awating installation of a real-time datafeed in our Seattle location. This will allow us to utilize the Internet connectivity at Go2Net, which plugs directly into InterNAP. This solution plugs into the main arteries of the Internet, and reroutes traffic around the country should a local circuit go down at the point of entry.

We have received many phone calls & e-mails related to this problem, and have answered them as they come in. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of phone calls & e-mails we have not been able to respond to all of them immediately.

We are confident that our forward-looking solution will prevent reoccurences of this problem.

Thank you,
IQ Chart Support>>
