>> You are fully invested in all your Gorilla stocks all the time. Whenever there is a significant selloff, just add to your position using the margin capablity in your account. Once the stock or stocks recover, start selling off the newly added portion to reduce or eliminate margin. This will reduce your cost basis as you go.

Just to make my position on timing completely clear, pm,

It is not part of Gorilla gaming.

I strongly disagree with any approach that entails the use of margin. Warren Buffet advises to never to invest with borrowed money. I have seen many fellow SIers severely wounded due to margin; some of them WIPED OUT PERMANENTLY.

It would be a tragedy to ruin the once in a lifetime opportunity for wealth that a stock like Q offers through greed. Imo, the best approach is to go long term on the amount of common that you can afford to buy without using margin or options or timing schemes.

jmho but a very strong one,
uf

Piyush; This is the ONLY thing that has worked for me, it's also gotten me out of losers ie MANU by doubling down on dips (crashes) and selling the whole position after some recovery.

My system has been buying my want list on margin and paying it off out of income while waiting for the next opportunity.

I'm trying to position my self for a Q buy as we speak, just in case Y2K FUD (the media) needs to give me a Xmas present at the end of the millenium. <ggg>

Enjoy
Doug

PS AFTER READING UF'S COMMENTS: Bad Piyush! Bad tekboy! greedy greedy greedy and risky risky risky! Sit in corner and learn patience and discipline, lest you squander through hubris the noble inheritance bequeathed by the primate gods! <g> Um, Frank, if I ever do what Piyush recommends and get burned, I promise to announce it publicly and accept the nom de thread of "Icarus"....
