No. Who , Brian , can answer the age old question about the person who has never heard the gospel. I know what the word says. But how can that eternal question ever be answered satisfactorily. It pits the harsh God of the Old Testament against a Loving, compassionate savior. The argument ends in futility. The truth is, only God knows. My only statement is that God is "fair". He finds a way to even out the " harvest field" not making it any more or less difficult for one person over another to receive salvation, or "be harvested".

As far as where it says in the bible that the first husband was "harsh". To answer you. Nowhere. However it doesn't take much discernment to figure out Paul was talking about the Law of the old testament. Which by my accounts was "harsh". I have no desire to live under it . Do You. Have you ever had a harsh parent or boss. Or for that matter been a harsh parent or husband or boss. That's no fun. That's no joy. That's no victory. ( To be honest with you I have experienced both )( And I learned my lesson ) ( Never again !!)

What Christ offers the world is freedom to love without fear. Freedom to evangelize without fear. Freedom to be loved without fear.

You see, without fear there is also no anger. I know that fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. But what is the "end " of wisdom. It is peace and prosperity, and salvation, and happiness, and joy.

In Christ.gregor
