I find that indeed MOST of the time it is the LOVE of GOD that saves people... but not always..

Look:The first group are saved by LOVE ( compassion )the second by FEAR !!
Jude1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Believe it or not My wife was saved by FEAR.. She saw a movie called " The burning Hell " She flipped and wanted to know how to get saved :-}

Heres my problem... How are men to be saved by fear if no one ever mentions that God is also a God of Wrath ????

How are men to repent if no one mentions that God is also Righteous and is serious about HIS HOLINESS ???

This is the broken record in America today:

God made man but never dreamt he would sin... Poor God not too smart.
Then he quickly had to make a plan so he decided to send his son to die for EVERYONE... Poor god really got into a fix there.

God is now in heaven crying his eyes out because so many won't "accept" him.... Poor God again

That is all garbage not to mention pathetic.

Yes -- The GOOD NEWS IS that God showed to the world the Greatest Love ever witnessed. Jesus layed down His life in order that the following could be accomplished.

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

However God is not some loser that cannot save whomsoever HE WILL !

In fact the Bible say JUST THE OPPOSITE:

John 10:39 ¶ And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

God is causing some to see and some to be made blind !!!

Jesus said this IN PUBLIC am I supposed to keep it a secret ???
John 10:40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?

Did Jesus try to get everyone to understand the Good News ???

Math13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
Math13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

Math13:15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

And here's the BIG ONE:

Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

You may not agree that anything other than a "Jesus Loves You" message is good But that was far from what the Apostles preached.

Nancy, I have to admit, there have been a few times that I had my comment prepared and ready to type. And "Something" compelled me to stop and pray first. And the comment that I did submit was totally different than I had planned before I "Prayed about it".

I am sure that God would not want us to lie about him in order to get people saved, I am convinced he woud rather we tell the truth. The truth may hurt, and people who are not ready to be saved might not be saved, but being saved by a lie cannot be healthy, God would not want us to decieve our brothers and sisters.
