Well, well, well!

Buy a subsidiary with stock, sell it for cash. Use the cash to fund the Thrift or a stock buy-back. I don't think there would be enough to fund both.

Interesting concept.

Answers my earlier question about the source of the money for the buy back.

We'll see.
