Chip,

You as well as others have attempted to segregate positions so that different systems/perspectives may be applied simultaneously. You're welcome to continue to do that in your mind or on paper, but for trade report purposes, the spreadsheet and standings only want to know at what your avg. buy and sell price was for the day, & the number of contracts of each. It would be far too cumbersome for me to track which batch of prior positions you're closing out or adding to with the most recent trade.

So on the end of day trade summary, I'm looking for NET avg. price bought & sold at...for that day only.
