<<Their PR firm has let it be known that buying should hit the market by tomorrow afternoon.>>

Frank, there are only two of us at Eland Jennings, (who represent Hilton) John LaGourgue (me) and Des O'Kell. Neither of us has spoken to you today, and we have indicated to no one that 'buying should hit the market.'

<<And more releases will come sooner than indicated in the release.>>

Neither of us have said that, either. Get your facts straight.

There's no question that HTP's actions appear weird. However, if what you say is true, it works both ways. There's nothing to stop you, me, or anyone else from nailing down a bit more. Unfortunately, I already have a full plate so Busby didn't need to write on my behalf. Wish he hadn't bothered to write on behalf of others, either.

Meanwhile, we learned just how accurate a few posters have been on this thread. Congratulations!!! Hopefully they'll be able to soon report gas and pressure at CC which will make us all happy.

Bob

Frank, you are out of line. Here is some more "speculation" for you:

We stopped drilling just shy of 14,300' due to a defective drill bit. They are tripping again to replace the bit.
Whilst drilling, the background gas was steady at between 50-70 units (can't wait to learn what trip gas was).
They will be drilling again before tomorrow morning.
This is just rumour and speculation, but I'd say we are getting close.

Perhaps you bought HTP on Friday at $5.60 and feel bitter, I don't know, but your statements are absurd!
If that is the case, take heart. It's tough to pick absolute lows and highs, but HTP WILL be worth considerably more than $5.60 very soon.

<<<...there has been no speculation other than their own releases and that of Canaccord Capital.>>>
There has been rampant speculation, by all the major Cdn brokerage firms (see elandjennings.com for a selection), by Bloomberg news, by every oil & gas "expert" on the street in Calgary, and by the other JVs.

<<<...to allow buying by insiders at lower prices!!! >>>
Think about this. If they did manipulate the market so that insiders could buy at lower prices, then so could you and I.

<<< Their PR firm has let it be known that buying should hit the market by tomorrow...>>>
Apparently not!!!

<<< Berkley, the operator, is the only one authorized to release information... >>>
Do you honestly believe that any of the JVs would issue a NR directly relating to a JV play, without consulting it's partners??? Come on now!

I'm sure I speak for everyone on this thread when I say keep posting, and by all means criticize away, but keep your comments somewhat factual and realistic.
Credibility goes out the window with posts such as #5692.

Happy trading.
S&P

PS: Oil closed today up $1.03 at $22.30 USD/bbl
natural gas closed up $0.10 at $2.93 USD/mcf

Frank: Your disinformation on the Cybersurf thread was not welcome there (five bucks by when?), and I suspect that your hyberbolic paroxysms won't be tolerated too long here either.

Toodles,
JK
