>Edelstone got sandbagged.

John, actually everyone owning Rambus stock the day before it was due to be announced was. It gave MANY a sour taste in their mouth. That is why I think Intel's " Expect to ship the 820 in Q4 ( November) " comment meant much, it was PURE SPIN in the Clinton Tradition. It gives them an out if they can't resolve the problems on time. It was carefully worded. They could have stated things are fixed and on-track for
(release date), but they didn't..

regards

Don

John: >>He will be the last analyst to change his rating, I'd guess. <<

If Edelstone has the conviction that Rambus is everything he thought it was, and the reports that are coming out are as positive as they appear to be, 820 Q4, etc., then I belive just the opposite and Edelstone will shout from the treetops. This will be his super go signal. He will be pleased to upgrade with a "see I told you so" attitude. If he doesn't he will then be the only analyst not giving an upgrade.
