The Baker Democrat-Herald did 60 column inches on both Mr. Valentine, his sterling state and federal conservation/reclamation record, AND just ONE of his commercial mining operations which Opened to the public, for the first time this past weekend--in the Friday Morning, Oct 8th Edition. As soon as copyright permission to re-print is secured, it will go up on their website, I assure you.

Furthermore, KATU, local ABC-TV Affiliate from PORTLAND OREGON had a 2 minute live camera filming of another one of Mr. Blue Bucket Mining Valentine's commercial mining operations featured on their 6:00 evening news a while back.

Don't believe either one of those media presences would have bothered for a dinky "pay to pan" operation as you fear, let alone written/filmed it for public dissemination. Furthermore, The No Limit Gold and Mining private club Valentine has started and announced publically for the first time this past weekend, not only has placer properties open to the membership and placed within the bounds of membership only access, but he has slated several of his lode/hardrock mining properties to be placed within the corporate confines of the NLGM benefits package. While GPAA address the needs of the recreational prospector, Mr. Valentine's stated intent to place a hardrock mining experience within reach of the serious miner-wanna be as prices of gold moves northward and interest in this sector revives, Valentine is exposing both cyber-miner as well as the week-end hobbyist to learn what to look for when conducting individual due-diligence evaluations of investment opportunities, now that the POG has awakened from it's 20 year slumber.

So while your skepticism is duly noted based upon your erroneous evaluation and perhaps even prior lousy investment decisions, you DO bring up a good point. How DOES a cyber citizen differentiate a real gold mine from a gossamer storyline spun by a micro-crap junior Public Relations campaign, who is busy helping themselves to the cyber and public investor's wallet by playing upon the romance of 1849 historical goldrushes and issuing worthless paper stock in exchange for lousy or inexperienced mining management? Yes, that IS a good point and one I'm happy to address!

As I've posted on here and other threads many times prior, there are
THREE SACRED RULES for ANY GOLD INVESTOR: they are known as The 3-M's.

Metal in the Ground...Valentine has it, and has it galore.
Money in the Bank...you should investigate Mr. Valentine like others have before you and then draw your own conclusions
Management...in this case, Mr Valentine IS management, and has an impeccable reputation there as well. Investigation will ALSO bear that out.
And a further comment on evaluation of management. Ability of commerical mining operation to FIND THE GOLD in the first place, is not the only component of managment evaluation that should be examined. How management treats miner/laborers, suppliers, refiners, financiers, the land PLUS "gets along with" governmental regulators, especially in a super-environmental conscious state such as Oregon also should be investigated and evaluated. Valentine's operations literally shine in this regard. It is to his eternal credit and future Oregonian generations will be eternally indebted to him, that his conservation practices have now become State and Federally adopted/mandated procedures for ALL miners interested in either placer or hardrock mining in this state and nation.

He is a legend in Eastern Oregon I've come to find out, both in hardrock and placer mining.

So, until you confront YOUR skepticsm with a personal investigation and personal trommel skids kicking for yourself, I can't help you, nor can anyone else.

My on the scenes evaluation of what is a 'real mining operation' is more valid that your erroneous personal opinion which is not based on fact nor any personal investigation.

You sound like the typical micro-cap goldmine investor who has lost more money than you have made due to previous faulty evaluation models' applications.

Fortunately I do not suffer from this malady which infects yous. Furthermore, there is absolutely no intent to go public by Mr. Valentine as there is no need to raise money and subsequently share the largess with speculators and rip off experts also known as junior golds' "market makers."

So, regardless of whether or not you have an open or closed mind re: Blue Bucket Gold Diggins as the result of my reply, that is neither here nor there, AJ.

But you would be well served, as a cyber citizen interested in the Price of Gold to remember the 3 M's of mining! After all, goldmining is the "SOURCE" or SUPPLY part of the S/D equation that affects GOLD PRICING.

Have a good day, Joe, and thanks for writing!!!

The ONLY currently operating goldmine on the entire length of Interstate 84, or ANY Interstate which criss-crosses Oregon for that matter.
