Carlos:

You are missing the point. To expose these scams, criminal activity and pump & dump schemes is GOOD to the "average joe" investors. Hopefully, they will end up seeing through all the BS and get rid of their holdings before it is too late and the stock tanks or goes to ZERO altogether. SNMM is a perfect example. On the surface, they had been able to establish a spit-clean, polished image of a real, above-the-board company. In reality, however, we are seeing through the police raids, investigations, and charges that they seem to have real ominous underpinnings that no "average joe" should be messing around with. (SNMM has other issues such as the pornography business that I would think would keep joe investor away anyway - but that is unique to SNMM).

I think you are under-estimating the average investor by assuming he is too ignorant to make his own decisions. By exposing the seemier side of these companies, A@P simply gives the average joe more information from which to assess his investments.
