Neo, that was a great idea, to cite the Nicomachean here for that young fellow. Interesting the parallels that Aristotle draws between those who are young and those who are immature, whatever age they may be.

A question: isn't 'a person of defective self-restraint' the literal translation of 'idiot' ? (Note, everybody, this word is not assumed in relation to anybody on this thread. It is merely a real question on the text, posed to someone who surely knows, by someone who would like to.)
