Skeet Shipman: Hopefully there will 720 more! There are other threads on SI where that kind of lead-in seems to be more at home...<g> Crying wolf to often can make future warnings meaningless. There are to many folks trying to make dramatic calls for the notoriety.

Hopefully the analysis stays about the markets and making money on this thread.

Regards,
LG

DON'T SAY THE "C" WORD, you'll jinx the drop!!! Some of us have a theory that during declines, if someone uses the C word, then the buy the dip crowd gets rewarded. Now you've done it, now we have to wait another year for the real drop to come. <ggg>

LG - ROTFLMAO, I have to remember that phrase. LOL LOL

Good Luck,

Lee

Skeet,

>>>> 720 postings since anyone mentioned the word CRASH in their lead-in. Complacency? <<<<

Thats a very interesting observation. Regardless, I have expressed my opinion toward analysts/those who make profound predictions in either direction. Heck, they could be right but the point I have always made is that statistically the probability of calling a strong move consistently is about the same as flipping a coin. But, of course, we have the hand wavers and especially those who make strong predictions without support, who ever so often will get it right. Then some make them look like a genius since they want a GURU to follow.

Frankly, Im glad that you noticed that strong comments of a crash has been limited on this thread. I just hope it stays that way for this thread, and if some wants to express their ego, theres plenty of other threads for that.

seeya and thanks for your observation.
