Toy: truer words were never.....

My conclusion is that, as an investor, it's very easy to get caught up in the "techie" enthusiasm for a new whiz-bang, break-thru, killer app, all of which may be very worthy of some techie needing smelling salts to recover from. ( excuse the dangling prep.) But all of that has so little influence on earnings and the market price of the stock. At the same time, I have learned so much from this board so I check in regularly.

I have heard about DM since early February on this board. I was so-o-o excited about it prospects, being a naif on the subject. Well, one learns to take all that with the proverbial grain of salt.

Nevertheless, I now own 6,000 shares based on a firm belief in the fundamentals of this company and its product development prospects.

Let me repeat: I Am Not Afraid. I Am Not Afraid. I Am.....

Hello ToySoldier,

Yes ... I *did* notice this ... things have got really quiet. I'm curious (and from others here on the board) are you using it every day now? If not, what is it missing to make it a "daily use" product for you?

I have a feeling that this is part of the issue ... but I would really like to hear from the folks on the thread ... Are you using it daily? And if not, why?

I think that it's always quite interesting to talk about "what it could be" and then when the release occurs, we get to see "what it is".

I'm waiting and looking for the stream of press releases about the next steps ... to see the new features and partners.

I have to say that I use ICQ daily ... I use ZCentral daily ... I'm not yet sure which features in this v1.0 of digitalme are "daily" types of features ... where is Whenever! ??

We've been discussing digitalme since what...January. Now the product finally comes out and we get to play/test it. Now we know what the "version 1.0" is like and we have a good grasp on what the next few versions might be like.

We've bought the hype now it's time to see the execution. I'm waiting to see the first real big ISP player sign up for digitalme....like maybe AOL?

Once we get some positive business deals in place beyond the first wave, I'll get real excited. When digitalme starts showing up on the revenue charts I'll get even crazier :) Until then, I'll be watching closely everything Novell does :)

By the way, anyone know when they will merge MyRealBox (free) email with digitalme?

Also, why arent people's email addresses links in the "Contacts" section?
