Mani,

"Well I had a shit*y day. Down across the board."

Agreed. That time of year.....

I got some AMD and was stopped out of it on the way down after the Micron pop. Reloaded at 20. Bad. I bought some additional AMD and wrote Oct 17.5s which helps a little.

I have gains on some ESV I sold earlier, so ditching the AMD for an offsetting loss remains an option.

I don't like limit orders, but I got caught on a stop-buy on the AMD reload. Usually pretty safe.

How's the new machine running? The Best Buy Athlon demo here hasn't died yet!
:o)

I'm sorry to hear that.

If you can, try and maneuvre into positions and investments where daily market swings don't affect you.

Re: "I once again have a limit order (63 this time) on INTC. I'll leave it there for now."

I KNOW you'd benefit by owning Intel in the long run. If you're serious about that, maybe you should "average down" as the stock is going to be real volatile for awhile.

Friday is options expiration - and ANYTHING can happen.
