While there is only one person on this thread that I find particularly offensive who fancies himself a comedian, Prograstinator's use of "idiot" missed the intelligence you constantly display in coming up with negatives for SUNW inspite of the great innovations it is making to the computing industry. I'm very impressed and feel Bill Gates could use a person with your "intelligence" for his press releases. The thread is a lot more fun and informative when intelligent people act intelligently by avoiding demeaning comments. All the best, Michael

Having hopefully redeemed myself with my apology, I'd like to take up your criticism of the GTS media player. You said: have you guys seen that funky media player sun.com has for earnings calls. that thing sucks. ever here of realaudio scott? Well, as far as I can tell, the media player delivers the content just fine, much better than RealAudio for not having to fight with the RealAudio Player, which I find to be highly unreliable. OK, so the media controller doesn't have three-dimensional pushbuttons, or support channels (which I have never managed to make work), but it DOES THE JOB OF DELIVERING CONTENT. This is my biggest problem with the whole Windows ethos: make it look pretty, don't worry about reliability or functionality. We need more software like the GTS media player if we are going to be productive, rather than spend all our time doing personal systems administration. P.

Twister, why don't you move to the FRONT of the little bus so the bus driver can HEAR you? Weren't you the same twister calling Charles a "Big Baby" the other day? You keep your discourse on the light HEADED side. You were just saying that Java is "just a language". What does that mean then; "Just a language"? -JCJ
