James very risky risky to be short Amzn i haven't forgot the yr.'98. And i think that's why the bears hate that stock with a passion...

No shorting allowed in the IRAs; and only for cash transactions. It takes three trading days for buy/sell orders to cycle--for example, you can buy stocks with cash and sell them the same day, but you have to wait 3 days for the cash cycle for another purchases...etc..

So short-term trades are Ok, but NO LOSS allowed. <g>
