It takes three trading days for buy/sell orders to cycle--for example, you can buy stocks with cash and sell them the same day, but you have to wait 3 days for the cash cycle for another purchases...etc..

Not at Discover, buy/sell the same day is ok. The problem with discover is you need 100K for the IPO allocations which is going to be tough to get to with my Roth which so far I have funded with 4K... but I'm still trying....
