Ole,

On another note.
Thanks for the posts concerning your property etc...very enjoyable reading. Reminds me of the fellows working a property down south in Costa Rica that i am involved with. Best of luck with yours. What a business when one thinks of it. Having a direct involvement in the creation of real money. Nothing is more sobering when compared to a piece of crap iou that has been so mismanaged may very well send the yellow to the moon in the not to distant.
On the tech side we might very well have a divergence between xau and gold today and tomorrow morn. I look for a blast off on the yellow tomorrow while the xau holds its recent low. Was hoping we would get down to about $305 and fill the gap on the xau but it does not look like it is going to happen.

Take Care,
paul

Thanks to all for your input. I am superficially aware of the more dubious aspects of politics and habits in Mexico and of course try and factor that in. It has already been a issue in the properties that interest me. I hadn't considered the longer historical view though which could be interesting in its' own right.
The stock prices are attractive and I believe the potential payoff worth the cost. My original query (not very clearly expressed) was whether anyone had an opinion on the actual reserves there and their viability. Those more knowledgeable than I, the regulars on this thread, have spoken at length about other geographic regions and sectors without mentioning Mexico which prompted my presence here. I believe, and am looking to confirm, that there is long term potential south of the border(s).
To bring it all home, the recent tides in the affairs of gold have been enormously interesting. The exchange of opinions, pro, con and otherwise have been very entertaining and informative. Gold certainly has its' own unique fascination. Maybe that's why I enjoy it as I do.
