Lee: I need to plead a little ignorance here. I have been talking about the Max Pain numbers and I do understand how the process works. Since I don't trade options would someone tell me exactly when expiry ends and the Max Pain number become irrelevant...

LG

Lee,

Earlier this morning I got a CLASS 2 BUY signal, but a CLASS 2 can always morph into a CLASS 1. Well the bounce today which was about 200 points on the DOW, fulfilled the minimum requirement for the CLASS 2 BUY signal. So thats done with.

At todays close, the DOW/SPX/NAZ are not even in my short-term oversold region but is in the lower midrange approaching the oversold region. So if the market is to continue down the potention downside in terms of time is 1-3 days to get a CLASS 1 BUY signal.

Of course if the PPI numbers are good, I would expect some more upside, but I dont think the selling is over.
