I think this will prove to be an excellent acquisition for Veeco. Synergy with existing ion beam business and diversification into a new high growth market a good enough reasons. However, this deal could significantly alter the market's perception of Veeco, and that may dramatically increase Veeco's market cap.

I think I'll buy some 25 calls tomorrow, but I doubt the stock will open at 24.5
