Yup! No party tomorrow. But it may provide a good buying opportunity for favorite stocks. Unfortunately I spent the $ already; darn! :)

Some comforting thoughts: Perhaps AG is trying to avoid raising interest rates for fear of exacerbating Y2K problems and wants to hold the market in check by talking it down. Bond market should react favorably. By December the market will have forgotten AG's Tulip-mania accusation, and one will wish to have bought given tomorrow's opportunity.
