Mike

So who do you like in baseball? I tried to ruffle a few feathers in here by slamming Valantines managing of the Mets yesterday, but didn't succeed.-g-

I don't like the Braves style of baseball much. They don't seem to enjoy the game as much as other teams, and you can watch the personalities of the players change as they become intrenched in the organization... it gave Galaraga cancer for christ sake.., and Walt Weiss is weirded out.(am I getting out there far enough yet?) I see those guys as living in fear of being blamed for stopping the great Braves machine.-g- Madux pitched a gem of a game, and didn't even go "yea"!! But.. they are an excelent team to hate.-g-

Was hoping for a New York series.. but the Mets are playing sloppy, and don't seem to want it bad enough.

Mark

Hi Mike,

Thanks to the "new fangled" BB system on SI here, I did'nt even realized that you and some others on other strings replied to me... I thought everyone hated me all of a sudden for being the great Yogizuna or something! :(
Bought some CPQ late today because of my chart work, not even realizing that earnings were coming out after the close today -- then I started sweating a little under my bear fur! But, it LOOKS like it will turn out O.K., as they were 2 cents ahead of expectations! Whew!! :) The last time I did something like that about five years ago on DELL, I got "blown away" when they announced problems with their notebook computer production. I hate to buy on announcement days. I'm a technical analyst, and tend to ignore lots of fundamental information that I should be paying attention to. I'm not doing too badly though...
Always wanted to ask you, did you ever try to read your thread from start to finish for old times sake? It would only take you a few weeks! <VBG> Yogi
