When Alcatel got DSC, they picked up 20% of Airspan. This adds an interesting ingredient to the soup, especially in light of the range of US venture capital ownership interests of the other 80%.

If NextWave succeeds in launching iBridge,it will have major implications for many telecom players. Once again, Q will be in the cat bird seat whichever way it goes.

PS. I believe it is possible to do cdma implementations in a non-mobile environment without stepping on Q's IP. Pehaps Engineer or Clark can confirm.
