A recent article showed Win2000 to scale much better than WinNT4.0, especially going from 4 to 8 way. It actually
showed a greater than 100% improvement going from 4-way NT4.0 to 8-way Win2000 on profusion. Wish I still had a
link...

Sounds good, even though it's a little bit apples to oranges. Do you remember a performance improvement % number for 4 way to 8 way, just under Win2000? 4 to 8 has been the bugaboo with NT, I think.

Well, Windows 2000 ISN'T GOING to ship this year - I believe - so hopefully iTANIUM comes to market BEFORE Windows 2000.
