No, douggie boy, I was neither wrong then nor am I wrong now.

In both posts I simply dealt in probabilities and what might occur to cause the market to worsen.

And although I did not say I told you so, what did I say? I did say that it would take changes in 3 fundamental factors to increase the chances of a sharply falling market.

What happened? The 3 factors changed. The market fell sharply, for at least 1 week. To repeat, no one knows what it will do it the future, neither I nor Voltaire. Contrast with Voltaire's often repeated assurances that the Houses would not let the market fall. Now, was he more correct than I?

My posts against Voltaire have been against his ideas, and his often-flaunted ego and arrogance, and not personal attacks. But since you seem to be unable to engage me on the basis of ideas but choose to pursue personal attacks, I can play that game too.

As far as needing love, I get plenty of that at home, thank you. But I am not sure about the obsequious sycophants who populate this board. I think maybe they suck up to Voltaire to fulfill some unmet need.

Maybe you would know what it is.
