Well, bb, I don't know what it is that you want justification for....what is the question?....should Microsoft (or any company) have a higher market cap than GM?....or is the question should an industrial company with massive capital investment, huge overhead, and vastly lower margins, in an industry that has many serious competitors be valued the same as a technology company with comparatively virtually no capital investment, little overhead, massive margins, and still virtually no competition.....what is the question?

Is the question: now that we are in a downdraft can you defend having a bullish outlook and being long in anything?....or just technology?....or just any apparently overvalued company?...Clear up the question for me bobby, and I'll do my best to answer it from my perspective as best I can.

bobby:

"employees are the biggest asset of any employer and anybody you talk to in business will tell you the same"

And doesn't MSFT know it! After all, there are 850 mil options outstanding with an average strike of $11 15/16 at MSFT. But then again, it's only about $64 bil worth. How much has MSFT made cumulatively since its' inception? :)
