heard rumors that SEC was working on an investigation of SI Boards, resulting in temporary shutdown... source was "Market Direction Analysis" thread

on Greenspan, he reminds me of a man walking into a crowded theatre and yelling "nobody should ever yell FIRE in a crowded theatre like this one"

Greenspan needs a long weekend alone with a 25 yr old woman possessing physical talent and all the right moves... only that would enlighten him into allowing laissez faire to our free market

Fed hikes have now been replaced by War of Words... his threats now act like a sword having over the stock market, which is worse than a rate hike itself... when the Fed is done acting, it resorts to talking... have consistently made this point

VIX volatility index is showing very high level over 30, highest since March
my fave contrary indicator, bullish sign

Investor Business Daily had article citing telecoms as strong, and weathering the decline this autumn very well... focused in list on carriers, not QCOM
