=====

This was obviously after-hours on a Friday. I don't see any related message that trading was (is to be) resumed, and I'm not sure if there usually is one in this type of circumstance.

FBN Associates Announces Record Third Quarter

SEDONA--(FBN WIRE)--Oct. 18, 1999--FBN Associates (NAZDAK: FBNA) announces a record $3.4B in assets added in the third quarter. Say President TomC: "We bought a few hundred acres of land in the Minnesota wilderness with lots and lots of pretty trees and medicinal plants on it that we calculate are worth $100M dollars. In addition, we calculate under the trees are tons and tons of various types of rocks that we can sell for another $300M. However, as FBN is an environmentally conscious company, we don't plan to log or mine our site until it can be done with no impact to the land and the many varied species of animals that inhabit it."

FBN has also acquired the rights to Doors 2000, a replacement operating system for MS-DOS. According to our hired independent appraisers, Strinket & Associates, if Doors 2000 succeeds in replacing Windows 2000 as the standard for PCs, the asset could be worth $3B. According to FBN's Director of R&D, Jeff Mitchell: "Normally we are averse to products 'not invented here', but Doors 2000 lit my fire and I loved it madly." Asked about how he thinks the marketplace will react to Doors 2000, Mitchell said "the Doors of perception will be mind altering." A release date will be set pending a bit more experimentation with the product in the FBN labs.
