It's usually not a good sign for the very short term when the averages close outside the lower trading bands as the Dow and SPX did on Friday. They've both closed below their daily and weekly 28-period EMA 90% trading bands and also the daily and weekly 20-period Bollinger Bands. The Nasdaq would have to break below 2670 to break below its trading bands.
