You also have not held a job yet and watched the fruits of your labor be withdrawn from your paycheck and leave you with just a paltry portion of what you actually learned. Yes, the government needs money to provide the reasonable services you have mentioned in the past, but they don't need to spend $50,000.00 to study the mating habits of the tsetse fly. They don't need to hire incompetent people, at inflated salaries, just because they delivered some votes in the last election. Less than 30 cents of every dollar sent to DC as taxes is actually used to benefit the country. The rest is eaten up by inefficiency in the government offices. That is what conservatives object to. TD
