I see your point, LRR, but can't those events be covered by those who made a positive contribution by defeating them? Maybe easier with Hitler who was defeated by Churchill [his quote above of course] ... not so easy with Stalin, who was never defeated and in any case was only one more in a long line of Russian gangsters, stretching well back into the Tsars and very possibly into the next century ... but then how about Solzhenitsyn, who definitely beat up Stalin in the realm of ideas?

And Al Capone would have had his counterpart in the development of due process - who were the judges or legislators involved?
