Everyone knows girls mature faster than boys, if that bothers you, sorry. I hope you don't get into a tizzy over things like men being taller than women, gosh, wow, stop the presses. Call N.O.W! LOL!

No, what I really want is for a voucher program to pass so that I can choose which school to send my children to.

How much was your private montessori school? We had a real lame voucher proposal here where somebody was proposing vouchers for $700./yr. What a joke that was, why not just give the wealthy a $700 tax rebate instead? Anyway what $$ amount would you need for a vouchers ideally? (just curious)

I'm a little afraid of privatization of the schools because I think the results of privatization can be seen with our (imo poor) healthcare system. Huge groups uninsured, powerful groups subsidized by those less powerful, etc. I think that could happen with schools, where things become highly segregated and in the end everyone is worse off for it... but, since we haven't had a decent voucher proposal I haven't weighed all the alternatives...
