Delbert, I was merely surprised that you read it. I have a confession to make -- I don't read it at all. I could cite a few passages -- "greatest hits" and all that -- but generally regard it as a cultural guidepost, not a verbatim account of the word of God. Meaning no personal offense to those who do -- it's just my personal view. Why do you seem to feel the need to convince Christians (perhaps I should include Jews) that they're off-base?
