Randy -- I agree this is a key part of his text -- perhaps you are not used to this style of discourse -- and the use of however is this form is direct disagreement. The bullet to the head is that his analysis fingers the underlying risk of owning stocks -- any stocks -- as the key to market valuations. This is why be puts so much weight on why diversifaction is not enough to offset risk. There must be a risk premium.
