bb:" R U Serious? "

..."well managed miners" ? we're talking, "digging a hole in the ground" here, bobby - I persist : if I wuz to buy "gold", because I wanted "the ultimate liquidity in times of extreme, economic uncertainty", I'd buy gold. You're talkin' 'bout jumping into a bomb shelter, bobby; else "gold" is just a great "play", trading on current sentiment of fear - like any other clever, sector rotation/sentiment. Economic collapse, otoh, where "gold" takes on Biblical proportions - your context - is pretty serious stuff, dude.

If "gold" is a clever sector rotation, then there is little reason to try to pick some horse to ride, assume "specific risk" - when we can buy a "diversified risk" sector fund or, leverage a "diversified risk" sector index.

If "gold" is an attempt to preserve buying power in a world where "currency" has no "value", then by all means, take physical delivery.

so, I put it to you, bobby - R U Serious? or, is "gold" just a clever sector rotation "play", given a sentiment of fear and uncertainty ?
