Brian: I was wondering if you would agree with a few statements in principle. The most basic of Christian understanding is that we cannot 'work' for salvation; it is 'by faith through grace'. But don't you think that there is a certain amount of 'work ' involved to be lost. I picture Christ standing in the middle of the pathway that leads to destruction and calling out to all those that are passing by; this is the path to destruction, do not go down this pathway: and the lost responding to His cry: you are wrong, Jesus. THIS is the pathway that seems right to me. This is the pathway that all my friends , and family are going down. ALL of them cannot possible be wrong.
