That's why I don't care for TRIN......seems everyone I've ever used provides it late.

Perhaps it is the fault of the NYSE.

It's nice but it's not fast twitch enough for me. I sometimes look at it after the trade is entered, though.

TICK is more of a trend indicator. There is, from time to time, a market watcher.....Mark Cook comes to mind....who has flat rules about what happens if TICK hits (whatever number he used....might be 1300 or something) he exits position trades because the move is over. But I've seen TICK hit 1300 one day, 1600 two days later, over 1800 the next day so the rule is somehow flawed.

But I think one problem may lie with the NYSE. I don't know how or why some get the data to you faster....perhaps some providers just don't see it as a high priority or profit item.
