Benkea, i hear CD-roms also went up in price and something else as well, i don't recall what it was. btw, how about MU specific instead of Dell specific?<gg>

U.S. wants to raise tariffs on Taiwanese DRAMS...good for MU, bad for everybody else.

btw, i expect the trade deficit to lead to an increase in protectionist sentiment generally. somehow, people don't feel strongly about free trade in spite of it's benefits and the politicians know it. longer term i expect actually quite a bit of the progress in terms of liberal capitalism to suffer a setback...however, that's just a pet theory of mine at this point, very little hard data to back it up.

one thing is the about-face the IMF and the World Bank did on Malaysia's capital controls...it's a sign that change is in the wind, and not for the better.
