Actually, you are quite right that I first thought him idiotic, and that in later years he seemed to find his rhythm and do some fine work. Especially impressive, in a way, was "L.A. Story", which could easily have been mere schtick, but actually had a certain poetry about it. That said, how many comedians should we include? Certainly, Steve is worth considering, but what about the Marx Brothers? Harold Lloyd? Jackie Mason? Eddie Murphy?.............
