Reagan restored US spirit and faith in itself after the Carter malaise. Paradoxically, Reagan restored the people's faith in government that Carter and his predecessors destroyed.

Reagan defeated the Soviet Empire with amazing skill by confronting it directly throughout the world and by working with the Pope to undermine it from within.

Reagan revived the worst economy since the Great Depression and started the Great Boom which continues to this day.

Reagan will be remembered as the President who restored hope to the American people after 20 years of drift and malaise. He embodied the American conservative character. He wouldn't be fazed by a ritualistic liberal such as yourself.
