Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen So you don't believe in irresistible grace? Most that God elects are not chosen? NO NONE OF GOD'S ELECT WILL BE LOST. How can this be. If God calls his elect, then they must be chosen. But Jesus said, "Many are called, but few are chosen. Couldn't it be that you are in error about Calvinism? Can't we just take John 3:16 literally? alan w PS. I struggle with these passages on a regular basis. I do think God wants us to discuss them regularly. All of these exchanges are right and good.
