PB,
RE:"Since you asked, a LOT more than K7 700's!!! Bin split wise my guess
is at least 3X in favor of Intel at this point."...

I guess, sadly, that Pauls style has rubbed off on you. I wasn't asking relative to Athlon...but since you mentioned it, are you saying that Intel is yielding 3X as much % wise at 733 than AMD is yielding 700 MHz Athlons? What is your basis for this assumption?
With Intels FAB capacity I would imagine they can make a lot more Cumines than AMD can Athlons right out of the blocks...

RE:"t would not
surprise me to see a tug of war for the next several months w.r.t.
Coppermine vs. K7 MHz."...

It appears that way until AMD gets to .18u...
While the Cumine may win some benchmark war vs the Athlon it appears the Athlons FPU will keep it firmly entrenched in the minds of the gamers/power users...as the most powerful processor out there...at least for practical purposes...
Athlon will fare well vs the pumped up Celeron..(Coppermine)

PB Re <<Bin split wise my guess is at least 3X in favor of Intel at this point. >>

With all due respect PB, you have no idea what AMD's bin split is, so you would have no knowledge to base this guess on. Unless you know some inside info on AMD.
