Yes, I know! I have relatives who started working many years before I did and who have kept their "savings" in CD's for over twenty years. I have always been in the stock market and have put much less money away than they and I have accumulated over twice what they now have in their retirement fund. Heck, I told them if nothing else, to just put half of their money in Vanguard's Index 500, but they never did. I can't understand it but some people have a complete misunderstanding of investing in stocks. They think it's way too risky. I'll tell you the risk of not being in the stock market is much greater than the little piece of mind one gets in CD's!!!!!! Having fun with AIM, HiTech
