Yes, that really, really sucked. Did I mention by the way that when all was said and done I bought well over my margin limit since I had intended to sell them before the close? Fortunately all the stocks were up by the time I found out I got them. Every time Schwab called and told me an order had filled (two weeks earlier) I sold it. As a result I never got a margin call but the whole experience was pretty bizarre, and I was pretty upset with Schwab at the time, though not enough to leave I guess since I'm still with them. <G>
