Pat: You've been telling us that Newbridge would get a chunk of the SBC contract, but it looks like Alcatel got the lion's share and there's only crumbs left for other suppliers like Newbridge.

There is still no news out of Newbridge about their share, if any, of this contract. They did announce a small contract with CPR. Another attempt at deflecting attention from the fact that they are not getting the big contracts they had hoped for.

Thats a pretty general purpose strategy and not unlike "everybody" elses, even Ciscos (prior to the cancellation of the IP/ATM switch)
