Hi Coug, good to hear from you

I got my buy signal this morning -- I must say that I was wary of it and even told Scott that it did not look like a good signal. But he reminded me that I told him the same thing about the previous sell signal -- and it turned out to be a major winner. So I am long at this point and in the hole both in terms of the real thing as well as the contest. As far as the real thing is concerned, I took a day trade sell when that was triggered at 77+ and that helped me out some.

I don't find the contest a distraction -- though I do tend to have some problems posting fast moving day trades since my first priority is obviously the real thing. The system that I use for day trading does not lend itself to stops for entry, unfortunately.

Not familiar with Gary Smith's work -- where can I pick up some info on his approach?

Take care
